PVI's Alpha MRAP resurfaces

OK, first a caveat or two.  There are some distinct design differences between the early images of the Oshkosh-built, PVI-designed Alpha MRAP and the FBI MRAP with the Oshkosh nameplate.

On the other hand, the design similarities and the Oshkosh nameplate, along with the fact that the Department of Defense expressed its intention to peddle the discarded PVI MRAPs to law enforcement make it extremely likely that this MRAP is the Alpha:

After starting the post, I've located some confirmation.

I ran across the image originally at NewScientist, where it carries the caption "Also on standby is a MRAP – Mine Resistant Ambush Protected – vehicle, similar to those used by US forces in Iraq and Afganistan to shield troops against roadside bombs."

Not that similar.

But it sure beats the the earlier images in terms of appearance.
