While 82% of voters who support McCain believe the justices should rule on what is in the Constitution, just 29% of Barack Obama’s supporters agree.That number surprises even me.
I wonder if any of those people stop to think about how their view of the judicial branch insults the Constitution at least as much as George W. Bush's supposed constitutional depredations.
At least Bush has Article II to go on. What is the justification for interpretation of the law above and beyond the law?
