Late miracle rally lifts Rays over Jays

I admit it--I had effectively given up on this game. Toronto's pitching had been mowing down Rays hitters, and the home team was down 4-1 with three outs to go.

Crawford reaches on an error.

One out later, Delmon Young homers to make the score 4-3, Blue Jays.

With two out, Jonny Gomes draws a walk.

B. J. Upton lifts the next pitch out of the ballpark, taking the ball to right.

Twenty-third homer for Upton.

Props again to Delmon Young, who has sustained his professionalism along with his batting average (consistently in the .290 range during the past month).

Also to Dioner Navarro, who has raised his absolutely horrible first half batting average up over the .220 mark. The guy's making a real contribution on offense, now.
